This Eco-Smart™ and cleverly designed semi-transparent pigmented stain, is odor free, color fast, non-grain raising and quick drying, with excellent color warmth, penetration and definition. Interior/Exterior. VOC compliant in all states for furniture and flooring use. A hybrid formula (half unique odorless solvent and half water), provides richness of an oil-based stain yet safety of a water-based, yet will not raise the grain. Apply by spray, brush or wipe. On large areas like flooring apply by lambswool applicator, making certain to wipe all excess stain off.
Dries in about 15 minutes. Coat over by spray one hour if by spray. Let dry overnight if brushing or wiping-on a finish. Easy to control with no lapping or blotching. Dark color tones are easily lightened with our Wiping Stain Reducer. Nearly any type of finish can be applied over this stain: lacquer, varnish, polyurethane, acrylic, shellac, Tung Oil, or water-based, including all HYDROCOTE® brand water-based finishes. An excellent product also as a glaze straight from the can over virtually any finish. Specify PRODUCT#, COLOR# and COLOR when ordering.
Coverage 200-300 SF/gal. VOC = 250 g/L.
ℹ IMPORTANT: Shake vigorously prior to first time use to couple two key stain vehicles together. Otherwise, may result in lack of its true color, color intensity and, cause grain-raising.
